Stevenage Town had to travel down the motorway on Saturday, for a 2^nd place clash with St Albans. Last time these two teams met it was an arm wrestle for the first 60 minutes until Stevenage ran away with the game 41 to 17. This time around St Albans put up a fight for the whole 80 minutes, going down to a determined Town team 27 points to 23.

Stevenage produced a strong game in midfield to test Welwyns defence, allowing the support runners plenty of opportunities to stretch the Welwyn defence.
