Malcolm Gomm RIP

By Steve Mudd

We're sad to convey the news that Malcolm Gomm passed away early yesterday morning after a long battle with cancer.

Malcolm was in his 76th year and he died at home with Jane and his 2 daughters.

Malcolm was a steadfast Life Member of Stevenage Rugby.

He played many years for the club and was a past President and Chairman amongst other roles in it's early formative years.

Malcolm was an architect, principally with Vincent & Gorbing that were involved in much of the Stevenage Town urban environment we live in today.

He also took a lead in constructing the present clubhouse, which although seen better years still provides a home for Stevenage Town RFC.

The funeral arrangements are as follows:-
Tuesday - 23rd April 2019 - St. George's Day
11.00am service at Holy Trinity Church with a reception at The Cromwell Hotel afterwards.
